Tree
Tree is my friend
She's outside in the rain
I see the reflection of my feet
in the glass window pane
morning dark outside
inside room light on
silhouette of my toes
soft in pale light
God has given me
I open up to invite the contentment in
such suffering I've had
this small joy is welcome
the morning light grows as
my appreciation of today
