TO GET TO THE UC DAVIS CAMPUS

From west bound Interstate 80, take the Highway 113 exit and continue to the Russell Boulevard exit in Davis, and turn right (go east). Proceed east on Russell Boulevard (past Sycamore, and Anderson/LaRue) to Howard Way, and turn right.

IF YOU HAVE A PARKING PERMIT ALREADY (SENT IN PRE-REGISTRATION PACKET):

Proceed one block south on Howard Way to the parking structure (a three-story building with glass-block walls, on the left). Turn in to the parking structure, and park on the second floor or above, in "A" parking, placing your permit on the front dashboard. DO NOT PARK AT A METER - YOU WILL BE TICKETED.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PERMIT ALREADY:

Proceed down Howard Way to the North Gate kiosk. Tell the attendant that you are with the Telecommunications Summit, and a parking permit will be provided to you. Follow the turn-around, and head back to the parking structure (a three-story building with glass-block walls, on your right). Turn in to the parking structure, and park on the second floor or above, in "A" parking, placing your permit on the front dashboard. DO NOT PARK AT A METER - YOU WILL BE TICKETED.

MORNING SHUTTLE FROM CAMPUS PARKING LOT TO CITY HALL.

9:15 - 10:00 am [City shuttle will run every ten-fifteen minutes]

City shuttle will pick attendees up in the North Gate turn-around just south of the parking structure and take people to City Hall. The morning session will be held, starting at 9:30 AM, in the City of Davis Council Chambers, 23 Russell Boulevard. Note that on-street parking by City Hall is very limited; please plan to park on campus. DO NOT PARK IN CITY HALL VISITOR PARKING - YOU WILL BE TICKETED.

AFTERNOON SHUTTLE FROM CAMPUS PARKING LOT TO CITY HALL.

1:00 PM [City shuttle will run from City Hall to campus every ten-fifteen minutes until 1:30 PM]

1:00 PM [University shuttle will run from City Hall to campus every ten-fifteen minutes until 3 PM]

Shuttle will pick attendees up north of Davis City Hall in visitor parking lot - and return them to the UCD campus, to the North Gate turn-around just south of the parking structure.

Afternoon session attendees will walk to SunTREC lab, Room 233, Social Sciences and Humanities Building, UCD campus (look for signs, volunteer guides and/or follow campus map). Demonstrations will be held, starting at 1:45 PM, 2:10 PM, and 2:45 PM.

Local afternoon working session (invitees only) will take place starting at 2:45 PM in the East Conference Room of the Memorial Union.

5:00 PM [City shuttle]

The shuttle will pick up afternoon session attendees who parked at street parking close to City Hall, from the North Gate turn-around on campus, and return them to City Hall.
