About the DMTA

 

The DMTA is a local organization which encourages the study of music by


  1. Bulletproviding a venue for student performances.  Recitals are held twice per year, in the spring and fall, and are open to students of participating teachers at the cost off our dollars per student.

  2. Bulletoffering periodic MasterClasses in cooperation with Young Concert Artists and UC Davis Presents.

  3. Bulletfacilitating the student-teacher connection.  Members of the organization are advertised on the internet (www.dcn.davis.ca.us/~dmta), in the Yellow Pages and at local music stores (Watermelon Music, 615 Second Street, Davis, CA).

  4. Bulletgathering three times during the year to network and to exchange teaching ideas.


Teachers who wish to join the DMTA should print and complete the following form.  Mail it to the address indicated along with a check for 15 dollars payable to DMTA.
