The Davis School Arts Foundation, in partnership with the Davis Joint Unified School District, is pleased to offer the Hershberger Grant awards supporting the visual and performing arts in the Davis public schools. Grants are available to certificated teachers of all disciplines in the DJUSD. Hershberger Grants fund individual performing and visual arts projects for maximum amounts of $300 per single classroom and $600 per collaborative of multiple classrooms. At present, funding budgeted for Grants exceeds $10,000. However, the DSAF is often successful in securing additional funds to supplement the grant budget. Grant notices and applications are sent to school principals by the DJUSD's Office of Curriculum and Instruction in August. |
