Friends of the Gifted and Talented

of Davis California is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy and support for gifted children and their families. It provides a monthly newsletter for members.

The organization has published two small, 50 page booklets containing lists of fiction and non-fiction books that are well worth reading. The first, "Pegasus Wings", contains lists of challenging books for young readers; the second, "Golden Chariot", is for college bound students. A limited number of these booklets is still available. - SORRY - ALL SOLD OUT - 7/98


FGT has, for many years, encouraged participation in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Talent search and, every year since 1986 has sponsored teams to participate in the international competion called Odyssey of the Mind.
