A Note to a Daughter-in-Law. The murder of my two lovely hens by a dog(?) Does not at all equal my sadness By not being able to just plain Talk with you with your son. Strange I could talk with my two hens, Even verbally, urging them into their shelter at night. So, finally, I could talk with two sweet birds, But not with a 'bird' who is human.
