Pill bugs and Trilobites. Pill bugs roll up in defence. So did Trilobites, 500 million years ago. Both are Arthropods, One terrestrial, the other marine. But that is enough said. The Arthropoda group has greatly diverged. Convergent evolution has led us to a conclusion-- Life at different times and places, Often leads to a 'similar solution'. Evolutionary histories diverge, Manifesting the complexity and diversity on Earth. (So called Sow bugs are similar, but can't roll up.) Frank Maurer 16 August 2025 2245 Hours.
