I believe that it is important that our members vote in this as well as all Mensa elections. I know you have both prepared statements to be circulated in national publications with the ballot, but many of our local members pay more attention to the local newsletter than the national publication. If you are willing to send me campaign statements ( approximately 250 words), I will include them in the April issue of the Owlabama.< Being somewhat aware of the politics of certain members of your local group I can not believe this is anything more than an attempt to push Mr. Hadley's campaign. Since your deadline is so very short I will bow out of running anything. I figure your members know me by now and what I have done for Mensa. They can read Mr. Hadley's statement if he sends one and you can save the space for something perhaps more interesting to your members. I doubt that many really care about International Mensa politics at all anyway. They can read my team's statement in the election materials or visit our website. But, thanks for the offer and say "hi" to Steve and LeAnn for me. >I need these statements as soon as possible. I will be putting the April issue to bed by the week-end. I apologize for not giving you more time because I know you are both very busy with Mensa matters. My husband has been in bed at home in traction for the past 7 days so I've sort of been occupied!< I wish your husband a speedy recovery. And I slute your dedication
in getting out the newsletter.
